Bubbles
2021I painted this one during the corona times, it seemed everybody was in his own bubble, since long it is in the art world a symbol of our own mortality, in this time I saw people getting sick and die. Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.
psalm 2020
2020They asked me to write a psalm, then I came up with this painting, the land was cold and frozen like the times we lived in, the problems I made into bears and mountains of ice, But Gods fire kept us warm and the memories of better times defrosted in his presence.

2021In the summer of 2019 I was on holiday in Ireland to paint the landscape. I wanted to paint a Toucan in the landscape, which you often find in advertisements for Guinness beer.
Penguin love
2021This penguin species chooses a partner for life. If the male finds this special female, out of love he chooses a pebble from the pebble beach and gives it to his partner. This reminds me of God giving us the rock (Jesus) to show His infinite and eternal love.
